Regarding Bitcoin Payments on August 1st

With all of the discussion surrounding the potential fork of the Bitcoin network on August 1st, our team felt it necessary to confirm where this puts Coinigy come this date. Because we utilize BitPay to accept Bitcoin payments, our policy for such transactions for Pro account subscriptions reflects their stance on the issue.

As of right now, according to their recent blog post, BitPay has no intention of suspending their services on August 1st as they do not foresee a chain split occurring. Should this not be the case, there is a chance of suspended services or similar in which users may have difficulty paying for or updating their Coinigy subscription using Bitcoin. We will continue to monitor the situation and update our users leading up to August 1st.
